There's a basic mopping mode that uses the same water tank as the vacuuming one. This is great for spills that are not serious, but you can't control the amount of water it consumes. That said, it does an admirable job of removing pet hair, with a higher pickup rate than the Roborock S7.
3. Miele RX2
Miele's RX2 robotic vacuum is known for its quiet, efficient appliances. It features a stunning design, excellent navigation and an impressive cleaning power. There are a few niggles in its operation that prevent it from being considered the top smart robot vacuum.
Similar to the latest models of iRobot and models, the RX2 features a dual-sensor mapping system that uses an LIDAR sensor to map out a room and a pair of 3D scanning cameras that can detect and avoid obstacles (like furniture legs or pet waste) in real time. Once mapped, the app lets you assign virtual no-go areas and favorite sections that the robot will clean automatically. You can also change the cleaning modes, start cleaning manually, or view live feeds from the cameras onboard from the main screen.
The RX2's sensors are effective by registering furniture and obstructions in real-time. The suction and sweeping capabilities are exceptional, taking away surface debris from carpets of medium pile and also removing dust that has been deposited on floors. It's not the most powerful robot on the market. Like many other robots it's not a great climber and has issues with things like metal threshold transition strips.

If you're looking for a basic robotic vacuum that is simple and has no frills at a reasonable cost, the Eufy 11S might be your best bet. This model lacks some smart features like Alexa integration and digital mapping found in more expensive models. If you do not need these functions, you can save money.

During our tests, the 11S was extremely efficient in getting rid of pet hair and dirt from hard floors as well as in low-pile carpets. One thing we really like about the 980 is that it uses its iAdapt 2.0 navigation sensors and its visual simultaneous mapping and localisation technology (or vSLAM) to store the floor plan of your home. It will use this data to create a consistent, efficient cleaning path for each cycle. The result is cleaner floors and a better robot vacuum than many high-end robotics.
